Pengaruh Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja yang Dimediasi Pemberian Insentif Ustadz dan Ustadzah Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an di Kecamatan Bajuin Kabupaten Tanah Laut

This study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of competence on the performance of Quranic education teachers (ustadz/ustadzah), (2) the effect of competence on incentive provision, (3) the effect of incentives on performance, and (4) the mediating role of incentives in the relationship between competence and performance in Quranic education institutions (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an) in Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency. Using a quantitative correlational approach, the study involved a population of 122 teachers from 28 schools, with a random sample of 55 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using PLS 3.0 software. The results showed: (1) competence had a significant direct effect on performance, (2) competence significantly influenced incentive provision, (3) incentives did not significantly affect performance, and (4) incentives did not mediate the relationship between competence and performance. These findings suggest that improving teacher competence has a more direct impact on performance than providing incentives.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja ustadz/ustadzah, (2) pengaruh kompetensi terhadap pemberian insentif, (3) pengaruh insentif terhadap kinerja, dan (4) peran mediasi insentif dalam hubungan kompetensi-kinerja di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Kecamatan Bajuin, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Metode penelitian korelasional kuantitatif ini melibatkan populasi 122 guru dari 28 sekolah, dengan sampel 55 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan PLS 3.0. Hasil menunjukkan: (1) kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, (2) kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap insentif, (3) insentif tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan (4) insentif tidak memediasi pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi guru lebih berdampak langsung pada kinerja dibandingkan pemberian insentif.
