Pengaruh Beban Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru Dimediasi Dengan Motivasi Kerja Pada SMA Negeri Di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload (X), work motivation (Z), and job satisfaction (Y) among public high school teachers in Tanah Bumbu Regency. A quantitative method was employed, with a sample of 190 teachers selected through proportional random sampling from a population of 364. Data was collected using validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using Path Analysis with the Partial Least Square (PLS) SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results indicate: (1) Workload has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, (2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (3) Workload directly and significantly influences job satisfaction, but (4) Work motivation does not mediate the indirect effect of workload on job satisfaction. These findings provide implications for school management in optimizing teacher performance through workload management and motivation enhancement.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja (X), motivasi kerja (Z), dan kepuasan kerja (Y) guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan sampel 190 guru yang diambil secara proportionale random sampling dari populasi 364 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner teruji validitas dan reliabilitas, lalu dianalisis menggunakan Path Analysis dengan program Partial Least Square (PLS) SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, (2) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, (3) Beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, namun (4) Motivasi kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh tidak langsung beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi manajemen sekolah dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja guru melalui pengaturan beban kerja dan peningkatan motivasi.
